We have four active and devoted members who meet every Tuesday, year round, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. All of the Readington Quilters are members of the Hunterdon County Quilting Guild. Through this group we have individually made and donated quilts to seriously ill children, for unwed mothers through “New Moms, New Expectations”, with Catholic Charities of Somerville, for preemies at the Robert Wood Neo-Natal Hospital in New Brunswick, for ill children through the Shannon Daley Foundation of Whitehouse Station, and Quilts of Valor for wounded veterans. We also made and donated quilts to the cancer patients at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington and Somerset Medical Center.
We gladly welcome any one to join us any Tuesday as we could use all the help we can get. Bring a sandwich and join us! We provide the coffee and tea and many surprise delicious desserts. It’s a learning experience with great fellowship!
